So chuffed that members of YGN are in a Music Business Worldwide magazine feature written by Rhian Jones. The three featured execs are:
Danny Desai, who is Co-founder of management company nowherenear, and looks after Ivor Novello winner Dyo and rapper Ay Em. Danny was part of the team that launched the first ever YGN event in 2013 and joining the network helped him secure his second industry job at Virgin EMI. GO DANNY! Danny met YGN co-founder Remi Harris at an AIM networking event when he was an intern at One Little Indian records and hopped onto the YGN team, putting together our first ever website.
Lucie Watson is Head of Music at Platoon, and a contact made at YGN's event at BBC Introducing in 2014 passed her CV to Platoon CEO Denzyl Feigelson. Our co-founder Sam found this out when having a meeting with Lucie and Denzyl last year.
Lloyd Murray is A&R Manager at Relentless Records and also co-founded the management company 88 Entertainment. He attended his first YGN Event in 2013 after meeting YGN co-founder Sam Potts while interning at Sony. So another early adopter!
